Traits of myself and people I like that makes me instafriend them:
When you are on the dancefloor you can lip-sync and do attitude-y dance moves as well as go into dork mode - you can choose to be hot as hell if you want to and unshamedly so, but just as likely like the silliest ass on the…
In case anyone ever wondered why Astrid is the best and I need her to not live ON THE OTHER FRAKKIN SIDE OF THE WORLD
“People think being alone makes you lonely, but I don’t think that’s true. Being surrounded by the wrong people is the loneliest thing in the world.”—Kim Culbertson, The Liberation of Max McTrue (via forlovers)
“The most important things are the hardest to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them — words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they’re brought out. But it’s more than that, isn’t it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you’ve said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while you were saying it. That’s the worst, I think. When the secret stays locked within not for want of a tellar but for want of an understanding ear.”—Stephen King (via metaphoricheart)
“Look, I know Sookie is supposed to have all these magical fairy powers and all but so far, the only magic she seems to be using is the kind that comes from her vagina. (Did Pam already make a fairy pussy joke? I think she did.) I just would love to see Sookie, the supposed heroine, actually stand up for herself and fight. As of right now, all she really does is create drama. And when the going gets tough, she just waits for one of her many paramours to come rescue her. THAT IS NOT FEMINISM, OKAY? Ditch the fairy dust and go work out with a personal trainer so you can actually learn how to fend for yourself.”—
So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I’m still trying to figure out how that could be.

I have not read this book in a few years… I was amazed/frightened to learn that being seven years older than when I first read this book, only made it easier to relate to the thoughts and feelings Charlie wrote about. Weird.
“You don’t have to be pretty. You don’t owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your co-workers, especially not to random men on the street. You don’t owe it to your mother, you don’t owe it to your children, you don’t owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked “female”.”—
Erin (from A Dress A Day)
I wish someone would have told me this when I was younger.
Larry stuff has been blowing up my dash in the past couple days. I saw when that reporter asked them about Larry Stylinson fanfic stuff the other day and some fans were like “don’t break the 4th wall!!…
They totally know, of course. And I don’t think they even mind, i think the crazy fans just scare them, like the ones that send death threats to Eleanor saying that she is keeping Harry and Louis apart. What is that??? I saw that almost maybe sort of kiss and was slightly freaking out, But I am the same, I have to catch myself like “WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THIS??”
